Hello Spring!

Now that our clocks have been set forward to Daylight Savings time, and thankfully the harsh snow and frosts are behind us, we are enjoying the delights of spring. Balmy temperatures and beautiful blossoming trees cheerully gracing our streets and yards. For us, In our East Nashville home all 19 dogwoods in our front and back yard are in magnificent full bloom.

Happy New Year 2024! As winter temperatures dip and storms envelop much of the US, bringing heavy snow, rains, and tornadoes; here in Nashville, we're wondering if the first snowfall for the year. Meanwhile, those following the ups and downs of the real estate market in Nashville are wondering if now is a good time to sell or buy a home. Below, we’ll look at expert’s predictions for the 2024 housing market.

With the market forces of high consumer competition, rising interest rates, and low inventory; Nashville remains locked in a Sellers’ Market environment.  It’s enough to drive homebuyers to tears.

All 9 metrics in our report (Medium SFR price, median condo price for Greater Nashville, Davidson and Williamson Counties) were down, down, down with the exception of one metric: Q2 Median Condo price for Greater Nashville. Interesting data for sure considering quarter after quarter it was up, up, up on every metric except inventory.
